Spring Clean your Body!!!

If watery eyes and sneezing are surefire signals that spring has arrived, you're not alone. An estimated 35 million American adults suffer from seasonal allergies, and for many the season that brings budding trees and blooming flowers can also bring the worst symptoms. And while you may already be armed with your drug of choice (Allegra recently joined Claritin and Zyrtec as an over-the-counter option), there are other measures to keep in mind to help you breathe easy. Read on for five additional ways to get the best of your springtime sniffles.
Workout Inside
If outdoor running, biking, walking, or any other activity is how you get your exercise, you might want to consider moving your activity indoors so you're exposed to fewer outdoor allergens throughout the day. Instead, try out a Zumba DVD, short-term gym membership or a yoga class. And if you really need to workout in fresh air, do so when pollen counts are not at their peak; checkwww.pollen.com for up-to-date levels in your zip code.
Acupuncture
The ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine practice is extremely helpful in treating allergy symptoms. "Acupuncture and herbs can help control the overproduction of histamines that cause allergy symptoms and strengthen immune function," says Charles Peri, OMD, a California-based acupuncturist and MedHelp.org expert. If you do take this route, you can expect twice-a-week treatments for four to six months, possibly complemented by herb supplements.
Neti Pot
While some doctors recommend using a saline nasal spray to help thin nasal secretions, a study from the University of Michigan Health System found that rinsing your nasal passages out with salt water is even more effective at relieving symptoms. You can use a Neti pot, a small teapot-like device available at most drug stores, to flush out your sinuses. Follow package instructions, or ask your doctor how to use it safely.
Switch Up Shower Time
Wash your hair before you hit the hay-Your luscious locks can collect pollen and other allergens throughout the day. Showering in the evening rather than the morning means you're exposed to fewer irritants while you sleep.

When our bodies are at rest, whether it be sleep or a meditative state, these are very powerful times of healing. When our conscious minds are quiet, we are actually more in tune with ourselves, surroundings and all energies. You, like many people, often visit the astral plane during times of sleep. The best way to describe it is your consciousness rises from your sleeping, physical body, and enters the ethereal astral plane, whereupon you routinely converse with your guardians and spirit guides. Sometimes you may recall snippets of these experiences mixed in with your dreams, but most of the time you aren’t consciously aware of all the work you performed while you were sleeping.
Our bodies are like sponges. We absorb experiences and energies on a daily basis, and hold all of that invisible stuff at a cellular level. Sometimes we recognize it through knotted muscles and stressed tendons, headaches and stomach pains. But, the stuff we aren’t feeling is still there. That is usually some of our bigger stresses and emotional experiences. In order to keep ourselves together and get through tough times, the body disperses the dis-ease and distributes these residue fragments everywhere. While we can consciously process and dispel some of the energetic goo, it’s hard to get rid of all of it. So, unconsciously, many of us visit the astral plane in our sleep, and benefit from the higher spiritual powers and entities who guide and “fix” us, or to give us the knowledge we need in order to fix ourselves. You just happened to wake up after one such productive astral visit, and experienced the release of the dis-ease your body had been storing.
You should be feeling a lot better, healthier. Maybe with the need to stretch and flex a little more, but that’s about it. After such a cleansing, many people experience a need to visit the restroom a little more frequently for a day or two, but that is only a physical cleansing of energetic residue.
